A little about Mike Ward
Mike enjoys spending time with his family, working on growing his business, and sharing as much knowledge as possible with others.
Early Memories
Mike first started his tech journey when he was much younger. After breaking his first computer, he was tasked with fixing it himself if he wanted to use it again. And, that's just what he did! These are Mike's earliest memories of discovering his love for technology.
A Growing Knowledge
In school, Mike's teachers picked up quickly that he had a gift for understanding, and fixing, technology. Complicated technical processes seemed to come to him naturally and it was almost as if he could speak to computers, a kind of "technology whisperer"!
Professional Experience
After schooling, Mike started out on his journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur in 2006. He started by programming websites for small businesses. He soon discovered that small businesses had a huge need when it came to all of their technology needs! He began offering services to fix broken tech, advise on new tech, and teach owners how to use their tech the right way!
Teaching and Coaching
Back in 2012, Dr. Peter Balsamo invited Mike to an iPad class being taught at the Shepherd's Center of Lexington (Lexington, SC). Halfway through the class Dr. Balsamo introduced Mike to the class and asked if Mike had anything to say. Behold, Mike had a lot to say...so much, that he hasn't stopped talking. Now he is sharing his technology knowledge through this online community.
